  • With a high infant death rate and average life span of 50 years, a country facing many difficulties due to poverty and political instability

  • A country with the majority of citizens worshiping mixed religions

  • A country located in the center of a tropical climate zone annually exposed to tropical storms with only desolate limestone soil

  • A country dying from tropical pests, parasites, epidemics, AIDS, and other unidentified diseases

Cité Soleil, the village where Haiti Paix(Peace) church stands, is one of the biggest slums regraded as one of the poorest and most dangerous areas which even local residents are reluctant to visit

In hope to become a center of love for congregation and learning God's words, helping neighbors, and spreading God's love, our church and school have been built here thanks to the tears and devotions of many

Peace on Haiti 


"Peace on Haiti" began in 2000 with the support of Young San Church and dispatched missionary, Pastor Hyung-Gu Tak. Since then, it has worked to become a basis for spreading the Gospel within the depths of Cité Soleil, one of the poorest and most dangerous areas in Haiti.


In 2009, Korean Peace Presbyterian Church of Seattle in the US took on the role of main support and has been working to create a new leap forward through wholehearted prayer and support. Haiti Peace Presbyterian Church and Peace Academy are currently operated...
